Biodegradable wallets
At ChangeGroup, we are committed to reducing plastic pollution and consciously chose the next generation of self-destructive plastic technology for our wallets. When customers place an order with us, they receive their money in a sustainable envelope. Designed to be recyclable, if it ever ends up in the wild, it will turn to earth-friendly wax and biodegrade completely without leaving any toxins or microplastics behind. We are proud to be the first company to bring wallets back to life with self-destructive plastic technology!
Reducing paper use
We offer all our customers at ATMs and branches the possibility to receive an e-receipt or instead just a short transaction summary on screen. We are reducing the amount of paper we use in our daily operations and avoiding unnecessary waste.Our target across our business in 2024 is for 50% of customers to take a digital receipt.All paper supplied to our customers is FSC certified, which means it is made from responsibly sourced wood fibre.
Cash transport and CO2 impact
Over the past two years, we have improved our cash handling needs across our business through operational efficiencies and continue to set a target to find additional efficiencies to reduce our average cash handling needs per unit per year.
